Since 1901, our family has been proud to provide St. Louis with the finest foods and exceptional service.

Our story begins in 1901, when William A. Straub founded Straub's Markets in Webster Groves with a simple mission: to provide the best in quality products along with exceptional customer service.

For over 120 years, that mission has been the guiding principle for our family-operated company. We've grown with St. Louis, evolving from a neighborhood grocer to an iconic local food establishment known for our World Famous Chicken Salad, USDA Prime meats, and curated gourmet items.

That legacy is proudly carried on today by our fourth-generation Owner and CEO, Jack W. (Trip) Straub, III. Having grown up in the business, Trip continues to uphold the commitment to quality that has defined our name for over a century.

We are thrilled that the tradition continues, with the fifth generation of our family, Ellie Straub Huff, joining the company in 2021. As we look to the future, our family remains dedicated to serving yours.
