    Back at Straub’s for a short time only: Limited Edition Patric Salty Signature Seventy Chocolate Bars! There will only be 12 bars available at each Straub’s location.

    Founder and head chocolate maker, Alan McClure, had this to say:

    “On a foundation of our award-winning Signature 70% blend, we have sprinkled Prussian Blue salt for sparkle, and Bali Kechil sea salt for crunch.  The result inspires the taste buds!

    We sourced both of these salts with the advice and assistance of The Meadow in NYC, home of the world’s best Selmelier: Mark Bitterman, author of Salted: A Manifesto on the World’s Most Essential Mineral.

    This bar is a limited edition release, and when all 800 bars are gone, we won’t be crafting more until 2014.”

What is honest, real, local food? Honest, in that it’s made with fresh, natural ingredients. Real, in that it’s prepared in our kitchens by our chefs from tried and true recipes. Local, because much of what we sell comes from St. Louis companies whom I know personally and who share our standards of freshness and quality.

    Meet St. Louisans Craig & Toni Brown, co-creators of Millie’s Barbeque Sauces. They bring with them a proven track record of solid sales at local farmers markets as well as the capacity to produce at volume for wholesale distribution in grocery stores and other local markets. 2011 & 2012 National BBQ News “Sauce of Honor” Winners & 3rd Place Winner of the Kansas City American Royal BBQ Sauce Competition in 2012, the Browns invest sincere and honest hard work to create their signature sauces.
