Blackened Tilapia

Ingredients
  1. 3 tablespoons smoked paprika
  2. 1 teaspoon salt
  3. 1 tablespoon onion powder
  4. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  5. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  6. 1 teaspoon dried ground thyme
  7. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  8. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  9. 4 tilapia fillets
  10. 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
  11. 1/2 lemon, juiced
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine the spices.
  2. Cover each Tilapia fillet front and back with a heaping tablespoon of the mix.
  3. Let fish sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the fillets once oil is almost smoking. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
